Steve has been producing content and guidance for some of the worlds biggest brands for over 20 years.
After completing his degree, he was headhunted by the world-renowned design agency ATTIK and given the job of Senior Interactive Designer. Working there for just under two years he worked on brands such as Dawsons Creek, Nike, Sony Europe, British Council and MTV.
In 2001, due to the dot-com bubble bursting Steve's decision to start his own agency was forced. EXSTATIK was born. Over the next five years, he built EXSTATIK into a digital agency that was producing work for the likes of Disney, Nickelodeon and Cartridge World. One of their main clients towards the end of the five years was The Intermarketing Group, and in 2006 the two merged.
For the next four years, Steve ran EXSTATIK and became head of online for The Intermarketing Group bringing onboard clients such as Sony Europe, Reebok and ASDA.
In 2010 though his attention turned to usability and to facilitate this change in direction Puddle was created. Puddle's expertise is in increasing revenue online through usability.
Steve has a proven track record of getting clients and keeping them. As a business owner, he understands and performs the many roles required of a full-service agency.
Living out in North Yorkshire's countryside, with only a short trip to his weekend playground of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, it's an excellent location for dog walking, hiking, and enjoying a beer or two.
He's a self-confessed adrenaline junkie; if he's not riding motorcycles, he's riding mountain bikes, climbing mountains or jumping out of a plane. With a firm belief that we have such a short amount of time on this planet, why not enjoy yourself.
He tries to instil this mindset into his children and encourage them to put themselves out of their comfort zone, both personally and professionally.
Travelling for Steve is a big part of who he is; any excuse to jump on a plane and experience a different culture, city, food, or landscape is his idea of a great way to expand the mind.
